Lately, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) participates in Chinese variety show, Sisters Who Make Waves 3 (乘風破浪3) in short hair which surprises the netizens. On 19th May, she shared Vlog showing her short hair in March and pointed it was a new beginning and welcoming a new challenge.
As she uploaded photos taken together with her husband, Philip Lee (李乘德) on 14th February, the netizens discovered her white hair which became a hot topic. In the video, she coloured her hair to black before cutting her hair short and thanked everybody for noticing the problem: “I know everyone is shocked about my white hair and haggard look. While filming new drama (獅子山下 · 情) earlier, I had a scene in sixties or seventies and wanted to make my role look realistic. Having grey hair appears stylish just like what Stephen Chow (周星馳) said before. However, I am making a performance and need to show my best condition. Hence, I colour my hair back to black now. Anyway, I have white hair when young and it does not represent my age but because of genetic.”
