On 22nd June, film producer Raymond Wong Pak Ming (黃百鳴), film director Benny Lau (劉偉恒), Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Dada Chan (陳靜), Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗), Edmond So (蘇志威), Law Lan (羅蘭), Katherine Chan (陳嘉倩) and Kendy Chung (張敬仁) turned up at the first movie screening, Burning (焚身) which will officially premiere in Hong Kong on 30th June. The script illustrates Kevin has a blissful family and has a one night stand with Dada, after getting drunk.
During an interview, the male lead, Kevin expressed he seldom filmed relationship scenes now and complimented Dada: “She is a good filming partner and I enjoy working together with her. Dada plays a woman with mental illness and it is not easy to act this role well. She performs very well and it is considered a breakthrough for her.”
When mentioned about the intimate scenes in the film, Kevin described it resembled to Fatal Attraction (孽緣) movie and was not bothered about the number of his scenes: “What matters most is the effects. It is my most daring performance.”
Stating about the photo taken by Grace Chan’s (陳凱琳) younger brother, Derek on Father’s Day which became a heated discussion and Joseph Lam (林作) was willing to pay $1,000,000 for a DNA test, Kevin replied: “His motive is very clear. It does not affect us and no response is the best answer.”
