On 24th June, Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) and Owen Chan (張振朗) were present at an opening ceremony for TVB new drama, The Spirits (靈戲逼人). Both play a couple and eat supper every night in order to replenish their energy. Katy said: “I act as a ghost who loves to eat so keep eating cup noodles and chocolates. I might gain weight but do not care about it.” Owen exposed Katy tried not to eat supper in order to keep fit: “She starts to feel dizzy and I have an excuse to accompany her to eat supper. Anyway, I lose weight due to seldom exercising and need to gain some weight now.”
Subsequently, Katy expressed she requested for an amulet for protection and Owen confessed he tended to have supernatural encounters easily. He said: “I had goosebump when filming at incense shop earlier. In one scene, I pretended to use earphone in order to talk to Katy. After completing it, I wore my own earphone and could hear a woman saying “hello” to me. I reckon it is bluetooth problem and a misunderstanding.” Katy added she wore pink colour contact lenses, smelled incense on the floor and would be shooting at a deserted school.
Finally, Owen disclosed he specially learned to play piano since having an intimate scene with Katy and music playing in the background. She praised he had music talent and said: “I thought he went for many lessons. I am learning to sing the song (鳳閣恩仇未了情) and it is not easy and a disaster. I seek advice from Joyce Koi (蓋鳴暉) and hope it will not be embarrassing.”
