Chinese celebrity Yang Mi (楊冪) and Hong Kong actor Hawick Lau (劉愷威) have a daughter, after tying the knot in 2013. Unfortunately, both filed for a divorce after 5 years later and their daughter follows Hawick thereafter.
Yang Mi is a straightforward person and shares her love history graciously in variety shows. She expressed she would not think about it once it was over and pointed somebody assumed he was an artist, but a nobody to others. The netizens reckoned Yang Mi was referring to Hawick as he disclosed both were artistes but headed towards different directions in a programme previously. It turned out that they had different perspectives at the time and Yang Mi said: “If that person exhausts my love one day, I will leave without hesitation.” It shows the birth of their daughter becomes the remedy which marks an end to their marriage.
When mentioned about friendship, Yang Mi said: “An important friend changes suddenly. So let’s leave without turning back.” The netizens suspected that friend was Tiffany Tang (唐嫣) who was the bridesmaid at her wedding and both were no longer friends, due to disputes over the roles.
After the divorce, Yang Mi has endless rumours and confesses she has to take on key role in a relationship. She also plays domineering roles such as interpreter and instructor which won compliments from the netizens.
